Don Juan review

Don Juan s'apprête à séduire un tout nouveau public, avec une recréation symphonique de l'oeuvre musicale de Félix Gray, sous la direction musicale de Simon Leclerc, qui en assurera l'adaptation. Cette réédition pourra compter sur les présences des vedettes des précédentes éditions, dont Marie-Ève Janvier et Jean-François Breau, les interprètes originaux de Maria et Don Juan. Les amoureux avaient justement développé leur belle complicité lors de la première édition de cette comédie musicale devenue un classique, en 2003. 15 ans plus tard, le couple est toujours en amour et a même accueilli la petite Léa, qui fêtera le mois prochain son deuxième anniversaire.

Fidèle au roman, le film relate le dernier été du jeune Félix Leclerc dans la maison familiale de La Tuque, au Québec, tout juste avant qu'il quitte la région pour aller étudier à Ottawa. Plusieurs péripéties dramatiques, épiques ou plus légères s'enchaînent. Autant d'événements qui donneront à Félix l'occasion de sortir progressivement de l'enfance. Nous sommes dans les années 1920's. Leclerc a alors 12 ans.

5 years after the events of "Les Pee Wee 3D", Janeau Trudel and Joey Boulet are now playing for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and are looking forward to the Draft at the end of the year. Little do they know, the road to the playoffs and the infamous draft is full of obstacles.

rançois Léveillée sur DVD, c’est une invitation à découvrir un humoriste et conteur en parfaite maîtrise de son travail d’écriture qui aborde de façon pertinence le sujet de la cinquantaine, la vie de couple avec ses hauts et ses bas, la féminisation des valeurs, la rénovation, ainsi que la « dure » réalité des adolescents d’aujourd’hui. Sans oublier son célèbre Bob Cashflow… C’est aussi la rencontre, par le biais d’entrevues, avec des complices de toujours : Jean-Michel Anctil, Lise Dion, Yvon Deschamps, France d’Amour, Mike Ward ainsi que ses deux filles, Emma et Sarah, qui rendent un vibrant hommage à l’artiste mais également à l’homme sensible et… distrait qui se cache derrière l’humoriste

Au début de la colonie en Nouvelle-France, la jeune Amérindienne Shehaweh est enlevée par des guerriers Ouendats. Des Blancs viennent à son secours et la confient à Marguerite Bourgeoys qui la baptise et entreprend son éducation. Devenue jeune femme, elle est déportée en France par le marquis de Tracy et présentée à la cour de Louis XIV. Après avoir désobéi à sa protectrice, elle est enfermée à la Pitié-Salpêtrière. Quelques années plus tard, elle revient en Nouvelle-France en tant que fille du roy et se voit forcée de se marier. Après deux ans de mariage, elle quitte son mari et tente de convaincre Frontenac de lui permettre de retourner parmi les siens.

Cardinal Richelieu, engaged in intrigue at the court of Louis XIII, attempts to rule by threatening the queen, who is secretly in love with the Duke of Buckingham. From Gascony comes D'Artagnan to join the King's Musketeers in his quest for adventure. He wins the right to membership by proving his prowess with the sword and forms an eternal alliance with Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, the Three Musketeers. After many adventures, he embarks on a dangerous mission to England to recover a diamond brooch, a gift of the king, which the queen has given to Buckingham as a token of affection. He recovers it and returns in time to save the queen from the wrath of Louis, defeat the cardinal's intrigue, and win Constance, the queen's seamstress.

When Don Diego Vega returns to Old California from school in Spain, he discovers the tyrannical governor Alvarado in power. Assuming the persona of an effeminate fop while secretly masquerading as Zorro, a masked bandit who robs the wealthy and gives to the poor, Diego attempts to restore justice. His true identity known only to his faithful servant Bernardo, Zorro outwits his enemies, wins over the soldiers to his case, forces the governor to abdicate and wins the affections of Lolita, a lovely aristocrat who is delighted to discover that her foppish fiancé Diego, whom she scorns, is actually a dashing hero.
